I have a XIX in 44 and am trying to decide on either getting a Labradar or a Magnetospeed chrony.
Has anyone used the rail adapter on a DE (top rail) with the magnetospeed and if so did it work well for you?
Aside from my DE the magnetospeed would work fine for all of my other needs and would prefer to save the $$$.
FWIW I don't want another optical one (last one had a horrible gunshot wound) and also I now end up shooting primarily indoors so an optical one really won't work as well.

Yes I too have gone thru 2 of those chrony's. I do believe this is the best solution mylabradar.com/. The only down side is if many other shooters are also shooting. The Magnetospeed is really good for rifles, but pistols not so much. Depends on what you need.

I only have experience with a Caldwell cheap chrono. Which it works fairly decent as well as being able to hook up phone app to the chrono and record data digitally. These can be found for under 100 dollars. which is nice if you accidently shoot one.( my brother did such a thing) He replaced it and Then I had an uh oh on it as well. The parts from the first worked to fix it and it runs fine now. Replacement parts are available. But the ones you are looking at is nicer quality.
