It seems the last few times ive checked out the site, I have had my anti virus software warn me that it had stopped a virus as well as I was on It just a few minutes ago and got some malicious popups that I couldn't get out of. I have only experienced it with that website. So just a forewarning on it. I like the other site its a treasure trove of information, but I hate yuku. So just a warning if your not running an anti virus software with the site to be careful.

I was on early this morning and didn't have a problem. I agree with you on yuku it can normally be a pain. I have a mac but still use all the pop up stopper and no install available !

I keep getting a warning from my anti virus software. It won't let me post any more pictures. Keeps saying the certificate is not right or some thing like that. Not to continue.

Firefox, AVG, and ABP (ad blocker plus) and I don't usually have any issues.

I've only been reading there for a few days, so I am a bit late to this party maybe. I use Windows, Chrome with AdBlock Plus and I've had no issues in the week or so I have been reading over there. It is most likely being caused by "cheap" advertisements, which aren't being blocked. Not likely a true threat, but just the type of cookies, and how it is applying those cookies... especially third party tracking cookies. I suggest blocking ALL third party cookies. There is no good reason I know of to allow third party cookies to be set. Most any browser can block these with a check box option. I am not totally against showing some advertisements on a free to use site, and it setting cookies, but the advertisers site need not also set cookies.
I can explain further if this isn't clear, but you can easily Google advertisements, cookies, and third party etc for a better understanding of how they interact with anti-virus and potentially false triggers.
