Those Grips almost look smaller in circumference than stock grips, as far as the back strap portion goes. Do the front grips add thickness to make a thick grip thicker or does it meld out and work nicely.

The back side of the grip is slightly below the level of the metal at the bottom of the frame and the bottom of the cut out of the back side of the top of the frame. The finger slots in on the front side don't come out adding much to the thickness of the magazine well. My hand is 7 3/4" from the base of the palm to the tip of the longest finger. It is comfortable for me and with my lower velocity reloads I short 70 to 90 rounds a session. As I said before thatmy fingers would get sore from stuffing the magazines. But I now have a cure for that problem, which I will post in a day or two. The material the grips are made from absorb some of the recoil power.
